Acknowledgement of the dark

Acknowledging the "dark" aspects doesn't give them power. The key lies in how we handle them.
Recognizing and understanding darker elements can actually diminish their control over us. It's akin to facing fears: by acknowledging them, we can work through them rather than letting them unconsciously shape our actions or decisions.
Escaping into love and light while denying darker aspects can indeed contribute to polarization. Denial of the dark, often prevalent in the new age community, exacerbates "mental and emotional wounding." Instead of healing, these aspects are being suppressed to allow "light" to augment the "illusion of happiness" in one's life. This happens because bringing up the dark causes a sad ripple in consciousness, leading to the downplaying or denial of emotions.
These denial practices prevent us from acknowledging and integrating all parts of our existence, leading to imbalance. True growth and harmony come from recognizing and embracing both light and dark, integrating them to achieve a more holistic and balanced self.
